Academic Presentations

Of all the academic tasks, what many students find most challenging is, perhaps, delivering presentations. Presentations double the task for college students, for hey not only need to carry out extensive research, but also present what they have researched before an audience.

The difficulty of the task is nearly tripled when students are reguired to do this in a second language.

The purpose of Academic Presentations is to help students acguire knowledge, language and communication skills needed for both preparing academic presentations and delivering them.

Speaking before an audience can sometimes be an experience we all dread. Yet, it can be an enjoyable experience once we master the necessary skills. Academic Presentations will undoubtedly enable us, teachers, to see how our students progressively acguire these skills and eventually become effective presenters.
